Make the most of The Lord’s Taverners funding opportunities with Total-Play

With the latest round of cricket funding available from The Lord’s Taverners, the charity dedicated to giving young people a ‘sporting chance’, comes a golden opportunity for cricket clubs with strong youth sides. In particular, grants toward the installation of non-turf match or practice facilities can be applied for with components including non-turf pitches, non-turf batting ends and nets up to a combined maximum value of £6,000.

As one of only five non-turf pitch suppliers and installers approved by the ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) to install Lord Taverners funded pitches, sports surface specialist total-play Ltd has vast experience of helping clubs to make the most of their grant. Whether looking to install an entirely new synthetic pitch system or restore and upgrade and existing facility, total-play can provide clubs with a tailor-made solution - including its flagship tp365 system which is ECB approved in its own right. MD at total-play, David Bates, says:

The Lord’s Taverners funding represents a great opportunity; the grants can really help clubs to upgrade their facilities, whether they’re looking to install a completely new non-turf pitch for practice or match play or just new nets. Over the years we’ve helped countless clubs make the most of their grant and we are happy to discuss projects with clubs and offer advice as to how they can best make their applications.
