MENCAP �Boot Camp� challenge Sat, 9th October 2010

Staffordshire’s Fresh Air Gym will be hosting a special charity Boot Camp session at 3.30pm on Saturday, 9th October to raise funds for MENCAP, the leading UK charity for people with a learning disability and their families. Open to all the session will cost a minimum donation of £5; with all proceeds going direct to the charity.

The event is the brainchild of regular Boot Camp member, Dean Smith, who says:
“I’ve been coming to Boot Camp for 10 months now and will admit I’m well and truly addicted! It’s great fun so I thought why not invite people to take part in a session to help raise funds for a charity that’s close to my heart. This is the second time I’ve asked Sally and Jamie to host an event and last time we raised £500. Hopefully we’ll see a good turnout this time too, come rain or shine, of both existing ‘Boot Campers’ and new faces – this is a great opportunity to ‘have a taster’ of Boot Camp while raising funds for a very worthwhile cause.”
