Last chance to secure tickets for Cuttlestones’ Staffordshire Hoard talk in Penkridge...

With Penkridge auction house Cuttlestones having seen unprecedented interest in its Thursday, 29th April fundraising talk on the Staffordshire Hoard anyone who’s interested in attending is advised to act quickly and book their tickets to avoid missing out.

The event, which will take place at 7.30pm at Cuttlestones’ sale room off Pinfold Lane, Penkridge, will see Steve Dean, Principle Archaeologist at Staffordshire County Council, take the stage to explain how he led the team responsible for the dig at the site and uncover the mysteries of the find during an hour-long presentation that will include video footage and images of the items.

Tickets for the event cost £3.50 each and all proceeds will go to the ongoing appeal to raise a further £1.7 million toward the conservation, interpretation and display of the precious items. A bar will be available, provided by Old School Wines of Stone, so there will be plenty of opportunity to mingle with other hoard enthusiasts before and after the talk.

Numbers for the talk are strictly limited and admission is by ticket only; to secure yours email office@cuttlestones.co.uk along with your name, address and telephone number – alternatively, pop into the saleroom any time from Monday – Friday between 9am & 5pm. For further details call 01785 714905.
